Unlike anything else in the world: Hamburg Cruise Days and Seatrade Europe to launch joint cruise week starting in 2015

Beginning in 2015, Hamburg Cruise Days, Europe’s largest public cruise-themed event, will be teaming up in Hamburg with Seatrade Europe, the continent’s pre-eminent trade show for the cruise industry. The cruise event and exposition will form a one-of-a-kind cruise week, bringing tourists, service providers and industry representatives to the Free and Hanseatic City every two years. The aim is to develop Hamburg as one of the world’s most important cruise centers.

Already the “Gateway to the World,” Hamburg will also be the gateway to the world of cruising beginning in 2015, as two top-notch events – Hamburg Cruise Days and Seatrade Europe – join forces. Hamburg Cruise Days is the uncontested magnet for cruise aficionados, drawing over a half million people in 2012. As Europe’s largest conference and trade show for the ocean and river cruise industries, the Seatrade Europe Cruise & Rivercruise Convention presents trends and ongoing projects, and includes a conference for industry professionals.

Until the change takes effect, the 2013 and 2014 schedules will remain unaffected:
Seatrade Europe will be held September 24 – 26, 2013. Hamburg Cruise Days will put the harbor and the cruise world on center stage August 1 – 3, 2014.

As of 2015, the new cruise week will unite the trade show and cruise event on the following dates: Seatrade Europe will be held September 9 – 11, 2015, and Hamburg Cruise Days will take place September 11 – 13, 2015.
